A 28-year-old man was seriously injured early Sunday morning following a motorcycle accident in Madrid's Hortaleza district.

The incident occurred shortly before 3:30 AM on Vicente Blasco Ibáñez street. For reasons under investigation, the rider lost control of the motorcycle, hit a fence, and was thrown several meters.
As a result of the strong impact, the young man sustained a severe traumatic brain injury. Samur-Civil Protection personnel responded to the scene, attended to the victim, and performed initial stabilization procedures.
