The incident occurred shortly before 8:30 AM at the intersection of Concejal Francisco José Jiménez Martín street and Gotarrendura street. The motorcycle and the car involved suffered a front-lateral impact.
Emergency medical personnel from Samur-Protección Civil arrived at the scene and attended to the motorcyclist. The man suffered multiple traumas, including an open tibia fracture. After being intubated, he remained unconscious and was transferred to Hospital Clínico San Carlos.
The Madrid Municipal Police has launched an investigation to clarify the causes of the accident. Officers escorted the medical convoy to the hospital and will determine if either vehicle ran a red light or committed any recklessness.
