A 4-year-old child has been urgently transferred to a hospital after suffering a drowning incident in a swimming pool in the Mirasierra neighborhood, Fuencarral-El Pardo district.

A 4-year-old minor was taken to a hospital this Saturday after suffering a drowning incident in a swimming pool located on Costa Brava street, in the Mirasierra neighborhood, Madrid's Fuencarral-El Pardo district.
Emergency sources reported that several witnesses managed to rescue the child from the water and, following telephone guidance from Samur-Civil Protection technicians, began cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) maneuvers on-site.
Upon the arrival of the medical units, the child had already regained pulse and breathing. After being stabilized and continuing resuscitation measures, the minor was transferred with prior hospital notification to La Paz Children's Hospital, with an escort from the Madrid Police during the journey.
