The Community of Madrid has opened the call for Extraordinary Awards for Professional Artistic Studies in Plastic Arts, Design, Dance, and Music, recognizing students' academic merit.

The aim of these honors is to distinguish the effort and excellence of students in Madrid's professional artistic education centers. Interested students have until June 30 to submit their applications through the Community's official portal.
The awards are divided into two modalities: one for Plastic Arts and Design, and another for Dance and Music. Each has specific requirements for applicants.
To be eligible for awards in Plastic Arts and Design, a minimum average grade of 8.75 is required, along with the submission of a project or individual work completed during their studies. For Dance and Music, candidates must have previously obtained the End-of-Degree Award in their respective specialty.
The selection process will include specific tests evaluated by specialized tribunals, followed by a final award adjudication phase. A total of nine awards will be granted: three for Plastic Arts and Design, one for Dance, and five for Music, each with a prize of 2,000 euros.
This initiative complements other extraordinary awards that the regional government annually convenes for various educational stages. As a new feature this year, students in Basic and Intermediate Vocational Training are also eligible, thereby promoting academic merit throughout the region.
