The Community of Madrid will illuminate the facade of the Real Casa de Correos this Friday and Saturday with the colors of the Venezuelan flag as a gesture of solidarity following the devastating earthquakes.

The headquarters of the regional Government will be bathed in yellow, blue, and red in support of Venezuela, a country affected by severe seismic events.
In parallel, the Community has made the Immediate Emergency and Response Team (ERICAM) available to the Government of Spain. This team, comprising 40 professionals, is deployed in the most affected areas, carrying out search and rescue operations.
The ERICAM unit includes regional firefighters with expertise in collapsed structure rescue, canine units for victim location, paramedics from SUMMA 112, and two Madrid City Council Firefighters specialized in damaged structure analysis.
Additionally, the Community has offered ten doctors from the Institute of Legal Medicine and Forensic Sciences to the central Government to assist in identifying victims of the disaster.
