These awards aim to recognize the effort and dedication of students who have completed the academic year at Madrid-based professional artistic education centers. The call for applications is open until June 30th, and registrations can be made through the official website of the Community of Madrid.
The initiative, promoted by the Ministry of Education, Science, and Universities, is divided into two main categories. For Plastic Arts and Design, a minimum average grade of 8.75 and the submission of an individual project or work are required. For Dance and Music, applicants must have previously obtained the Degree Final Award at their conservatory.
Candidates will need to pass a testing phase, evaluated by specific tribunals for each type of application, in addition to an adjudication phase. In total, nine awards will be granted: 3 for Plastic Arts and Design, 1 for Dance, and 5 for Music, each with a prize of 2,000 euros.
Additionally, the regional Government has extended this call for extraordinary awards to students in Primary Education, Secondary Education, and Baccalaureate, as well as Higher Level Vocational Training. For the first time this year, students in Basic and Intermediate Level Vocational Training are also included, expanding recognition across all educational stages.
