Madrid Celebrates World Cup: Team Schedule and Route to Cibeles

The Spanish National Football Team will celebrate its World Cup title in Madrid this Monday with a triumphant parade culminating at the Plaza de Cibeles.

After conquering the World Cup, the Spanish team players will land at Barajas Airport around 12:50 PM. The institutional day will begin at 5:30 PM with visits to the Palacio de la Zarzuela and Moncloa.

The area around Cibeles will experience progressive traffic closures starting the night before, affecting streets such as Paseo de Recoletos, Paseo del Prado, Calle Alcalá, and Gran Vía. Public transport is recommended, with reinforced Metro lines (1, 2, 3, and 4) and potential closures at the Banco de España station.
