The Spanish capital transforms into the national cheesecake capital with the celebration of the third edition of The Cheesecake Cup, a championship bringing together the country's top bakers at the Príncipe Pío shopping center until May 24th.

The event, formerly known as The Champions Cheesecake, begins a new phase under the name The Cheesecake Cup. Driven by entrepreneurs Mauro Fauquet and Víctor Hernández, the format aims to find the public's favorite cheesecake and gather leading specialists. This project joins forces with the organization of The Burger Cup, consolidating a national circuit focused on the 'foodie' phenomenon.
Following the success of previous editions in Las Rozas and Leganés, which attracted over 80,000 attendees, the championship arrives in Madrid capital for the first time. The event will offer a five-day experience combining gastronomy, live music, food trucks, and outdoor urban leisure.
Six specialized bakeries from across Spain will participate, recognized for their viral recipes, awards, or social media popularity. These include Quesarte (Cádiz), known for 'La del Tazón'; Materia by Pedro Trujillo (with presence in Toledo, Talavera de la Reina, and Madrid Xanadú), presenting 'La Reina'; La Paca Cheesecakes (Alcalá de Henares and Alcobendas) with 'La Hippo'; La Migueleta (Albacete) reinterpreting the miguelito; Los Dulces de Palmira (Alicante) with 'Dinostálgica'; and iaia (Galicia).
Each participant will present two creations: a classic version and an innovative one. The event will also feature DJs and a savory food truck area with offerings from LAME and Cañitas Maite. Cheesecakes will be priced at 6.50 euros, with support from Amstel, Coca-Cola, and Just Eat.
The opening hours are: Wednesday and Thursday from 5:00 PM to 11:00 PM; Friday and Saturday from 11:00 AM to 12:00 AM; and Sunday from 11:00 AM to 10:00 PM.

"We wanted to take the cheesecake phenomenon much further. After seeing the incredible reception of the first editions, we understood that it wasn't just a dessert: it had become a true gastronomic and social experience."
