The Community of Madrid is preparing to bid farewell to August with a massive offering of leisure activities, including patron saint festivals, concerts, religious ceremonies, and sports events in its various municipalities. These celebrations will extend throughout the weekend, featuring activities for all audiences at all hours.
In Batres, festivities continue this Friday with finals of table tennis, foosball, and darts tournaments, followed by a water party with inflatable castles. The afternoon will include the Triduum in honor of the Sacred Hearts, a theatrical performance, the festival's opening speech, and a mobile disco. Robledo de Chavela is celebrating the festivals in honor of the Santísimo Cristo de la Agonía with bull runs and the Diana Floreada on Friday, along with a paella contest, bullfighting skills, and the Orquesta Panorama show.
