The National Police has opened an investigation following a robbery that occurred on Friday afternoon at a jewelry store in Madrid's Centro district, where two individuals fled after injuring a worker and threatening with a fake weapon.

The incident took place around 5:55 PM in a shop located on Calle Toledo. According to police sources, a man and a woman entered the establishment and, using a simulated weapon, threatened those present.
During the incident, an employee, approximately 35 years old, sustained a bleeding head wound. She received on-site attention from Emergencias Madrid personnel and was subsequently transported to a hospital, where her condition was assessed as minor after receiving medical treatment.
After taking the loot, the alleged perpetrators fled on foot, leaving the simulated weapon at the scene. The National Police is actively investigating to locate and apprehend those responsible.
Officers from the Provincial Brigade of Scientific Police arrived at the jewelry store to conduct an on-site inspection and collect evidence to help identify the perpetrators of the robbery.
