The collaboration between El Corte Inglés and the Madring project aims to extend the Formula 1 experience beyond the circuit, bringing the competition closer to citizens and the expected visitors in Madrid.
A key point of this alliance will be the creation of a Fan Zone in the outdoor parking area of the El Corte Inglés store on Castellana, in Nuevos Ministerios. This space will serve as a meeting point for fans during Grand Prix week and will bring the competition's activity to the heart of the city.
The location in Nuevos Ministerios will also function as a major access point to the Madring circuit, thanks to its connection with the Cercanías, Metro, and bus networks, facilitating attendee travel.
The agreement includes the sale of official Grand Prix merchandise through El Corte Inglés's physical and digital channels, as well as the production of uniforms for volunteers and the organizing team.
Viajes El Corte Inglés will offer specific travel packages for fans, including tickets, accommodation, and travel and stay services in Madrid.
El Corte Inglés's involvement comes at a crucial time for the organization, which aims to establish the Spanish Grand Prix as a leading international sports and leisure event, boosting tourism and the capital's economy.
With this sponsorship, Madring expands its network of strategic collaborators, seeking to position Madrid as a global stage for major events.
