The course "Express to Connect: Artistic Tools and Expressive Languages for Youth Communication and Engagement" will be held in Madrid in November 2026. The objective is to train monitors, educators, and facilitators to use creative resources that enhance communication, group cohesion, and foster more participatory educational spaces.
The training, lasting 20 hours, will be delivered in person on Tuesdays and Thursdays, from November 10 to 24, between 10:00 AM and 2:00 PM, at the Espacio Joven 14-30. Topics will include communication in youth educational work, art as a language and tool, expressive languages (body, visual, and creative), and designing artistic activities applicable to youth groups.
The methodology will be active, participatory, and experiential, combining experimentation with artistic tools, expressive dynamics, group work, and analysis of real-life situations. The facilitator will be Esther Wert, a diploma holder in Process Work with experience in group facilitation and European projects.
The course is aimed at leisure and free time monitors, socio-cultural animators, educators, youth technicians, municipal staff, and individuals involved with youth associations and social entities. Selection criteria will include age (18-35 years), profile suitability, connection to youth work, and order of registration.
