The Community of Madrid will soon open registration for a practical course on youth group dynamics, designed to strengthen key skills in participation and cohesion.

The course, titled 'Group Dynamics: Key Competencies', will be held from November 10 to 24, 2026, at the Espacio Joven 14-30. With a duration of 20 hours, it will take place in person on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM.
The main objective is to train participants to lead youth groups, applying techniques that foster participation, cohesion, communication, and positive group functioning. Topics will include the dynamics of youth groups, roles, leadership, activation techniques, and group situation management, as well as the design of facilitation proposals.
The methodology will be active, participatory, and experiential, combining direct experience of group dynamics, analysis of real cases, collaborative work, and reflection on group intervention. The focus will be on the practical application of techniques and their adaptation to real contexts of youth participation.
The faculty has experience in leisure and free time activities. Francisco Javier Seoane Pujol, an engineer and technical director, will lead the training.
The course is aimed at youth group leaders, cultural animators, coordinators, educators, youth technicians, and young people involved in associations or youth collectives. It is also for individuals linked to social entities and youth participation projects.
Selection criteria, if applications exceed available spots, will include age (between 18 and 35 years), profile suitability, connection to youth work, and experience or interest in youth group dynamics. Registration order may also be a factor.
Registration will be done via a form, and attendance confirmation will be required. For more information, contact 604 80 73 53 (9:00 AM - 2:00 PM) or email escueladeanimacioninscripcion@gmail.com.
