The Community of Madrid has announced the upcoming opening of the registration period for its Taekwondo classes, a Korean martial art that combines physical and mental discipline, and is part of the Olympic Games.

Classes will be held twice a week, with differentiated fees for children (6 to 13 years old) and adults (over 13 years old). The fee for younger participants will be €28, while for adults it will be €40.
According to the World Taekwondo Federation, this discipline not only teaches combat techniques but also promotes the development of spirit and life through body and mind, having become an internationally recognized sport.
The registration period will extend from October 1, 2026, to June 30, 2027. Registration must be completed in person at the facilities.
The established schedules are: for children (6 to 13 years old), Tuesdays and Thursdays from 17:30 to 18:30; and for adults (over 13 years old), Mondays and Wednesdays from 20:00 to 21:00. These classes will be suspended on public holidays and facility closure days, such as January 1 and 6, Maundy Thursday and Good Friday, May 1, and December 24, 25, and 31.
