The Community of Madrid has published the academic calendar for the upcoming 2026/27 school year in the BOCM. Students in Infant, Primary, and Special Education will begin their studies on Monday, September 7, 2026.

One day later, on Tuesday, September 8, 2026, it will be the turn for students of Compulsory Secondary Education (ESO), Baccalaureate, Vocational Programs, and Vocational Training, as well as Professional Conservatories of Music and Dance and Official Language Schools.

Higher Artistic Studies will commence on September 9, while Adult Education Centers and Plastic Arts and Design programs will start on September 21.

Christmas holidays will run from December 23, 2026, to January 10, 2027, offering eighteen days of rest. Easter break will have a non-teaching period from March 19 to March 29, 2027.

The calendar also includes public holidays and non-teaching days such as October 12, November 2, and December 7 and 8. Additionally, February 12 and 15 are marked as non-school days.

The majority of students will conclude the academic year on June 18, 2027. Second-year Baccalaureate students will have their end of term dependent on the University Entrance Exam (PAU) dates. Infant Schools and Children's Houses will extend their services until July 31, 2027.
