Firefighters from the Community of Madrid on Saturday removed an approximately 20-meter, multi-ton telecommunications antenna that had fallen onto the roof of a building on Infanta Mercedes street, causing property damage but no injuries.

The operation, which took place last Saturday, resulted in damage to two homes and several parked vehicles in the vicinity. Fortunately, no injuries were reported as a result of the element's fall.
According to information provided by Emergencias Madrid, the telecommunications antenna, approximately 20 meters high and weighing several tons, caused "various damages" to the two apartments located on the top floor of the building.

"The operation was "tedious" because the area was "very unstable," and he pointed out that, with the help of a crane, they managed to lay the antenna down on the roof and make the area safe."
