The State Meteorological Agency (AEMET) has issued a yellow alert for rain and storms this Saturday in the Corredor del Henares, Madrid, and the Sierra, with potential for intense precipitation and adverse weather phenomena.

The Community of Madrid is bracing for a day of adverse weather this Saturday, with the activation of a yellow alert by AEMET. The affected areas include the Corredor del Henares, the capital, and the Sierra, where challenging meteorological conditions are expected.
The alert will be active throughout Saturday, May 9, from 8:00 AM to 10:00 PM. During this period, accumulated rainfall could reach up to 15 millimeters per square meter in just one hour, potentially causing issues in various areas.
In addition to heavy rain, the storms could be accompanied by hail and strong wind gusts. Given this situation, the 112 of the Community of Madrid has issued a series of recommendations for the public, urging extreme caution.
