The summer session will take place at 10:00 PM in Salvador Allende Park. The chosen film is a new installment in the ‘Karate Kid’ saga, connected to the ‘Cobra Kai’ universe.
The plot follows Li Fong, a kung fu prodigy forced to move from Beijing to New York after a family tragedy. There, facing problems, Li enters a karate competition. With the help of his teacher, Mr. Han, and the original Karate Kid, Daniel LaRusso, Li learns a new fighting style for a final showdown.
This screening is part of the municipality's summer entertainment program. Following ‘Karate Kid: Legends’, the summer cinema series will continue with ‘Lilo & Stitch 2’ on August 19th, ‘Rondallas’ on August 26th, and ‘El casoplón’ on September 2nd.
