The Municipal Housing Company of Coslada (EMVICOSA) has handed over the keys to three new rental properties to young people from the town, who are beneficiaries of the 2024 Young Housing Pool.

The delegate councilor for Housing and president of EMVICOSA, Macarena Orosa, has formalized the handover of keys to the three young people selected with numbers 38, 40, and 41 in the draw for the 2024 Young Housing Pool. The beneficiaries will enjoy their new homes for the next seven years.
The monthly rent set for these homes is 285.60 euros, a figure that includes the rent, community fees, and waste disposal tax. During the ceremony, Macarena Orosa congratulated the beneficiaries and highlighted the improvements made to the properties before their allocation.
As reported by EMVICOSA, the property located at Avenida de la Constitución 21 Bis has undergone a complete renovation. The work included the replacement of kitchen furniture and appliances, the installation of new water-resistant and fire-retardant laminate flooring over the old tile floors, and the installation of thermal radiators to replace the old accumulators.
Meanwhile, the homes at Avenida de la Constitución 87 have undergone a comprehensive repair of damages, focusing on painting, replacement of deteriorated elements, and changing appliances.
EMVICOSA plans to allocate six more homes before the end of 2026, which will bring the total number of beneficiaries to 47 out of the 50 young people in the 2024 Young Rental Housing Pool. The company is already working on establishing a new Rental Housing Pool for 2027 to ensure the continuity of this initiative for access to rental housing.
