The Festival +LATINA, organized by Boom! Art Community, arrives in Coslada to offer a program combining theater, dance, and visual arts. The festival aims to connect artists, institutions, and citizens through its +RESIDENCIES, +EXHIBITIONS, and +KNOWLEDGE lines.
Between October and December, the Antonio López Cultural Center will host two creative residencies. The first, titled Jardín, is a theatrical project by Maité Zamora, which will take place from October 19 to 23. A public presentation of the work developed will conclude the residency on the 23rd.
Following this, from November 16 to 20, the dance project residency Ecología Emocional by IRE Producciones will be held, also concluding with a public presentation on the 20th.
Visual arts will be represented at Apartamiento Nelken, which will host an exhibition by the Colectivo Errantes starting November 6. The exhibition, focusing on contemporary photography and post-photography, will be open throughout December.
The program in Coslada is supported by the Ayuntamiento de Coslada (City Council) and coordinated by Raquel Serrano, a cultural manager linked to the municipality. This collaboration aims to promote local cultural projects and foster dialogue between the festival's general program and the municipality's cultural reality.
The Festival +LATINA is an international platform dedicated to recognizing, showcasing, and strengthening the cultural, aesthetic, and social contributions of contemporary art from the Americas, creating a space for encounter and cooperation between America and Spain.
